Shropshire Baptist History traces the history of Baptist Churches in Shropshire from their beginnings in the 1650s until the present day. Information is also provided about the churches at Burslem, Staffordshire, Chester, and churches in Wales which have been associated with the Shropshire churches. The story of these churches is set in the wider context of the history of Baptists in England and Wales.

The book is illustrated with maps and photographs. It has a comprehensive Name Index, which will be of particular value to Family Historians and others.
